Save Three Sisters Springs - 352-400-4155
9064 N. Cacalia Dr. Crystal River,Florida 34428 [map]
This 57 acre parcel called Three Sisters Springs is the last available spring system located within a urban boundary and will be developed if it can't be purchased for Conservation. US Fish and Wildlife Service has said this parcel is the most important manatee habitat in Florida. The City of Crystal River has filed a grant with the Florida Communities Trust program for $6.3 M toward the purchase. In addition, we have a better chance of being awarded this grant if we can raise 30% in matching funds, some $2.7 M. Still need approximately $325 K to reach that match.
